About me

Christopher Trafton in his Scouts BSA uniform and merit badge sash, leaning against a brick column.

I like problems thatcross the line betweensoftware and the world.

I'm a software engineer from Fresno, California, with a B.S. in Computer Science from California Baptist University. My projects tend to sit where code meets something physical or human: an enemy that decides when to retreat and heal, a model that picks out people in drone footage, two handheld devices that agree on a beat over Bluetooth.

I grew up in scouting and earned the rank of Eagle Scout, then went on to staff National Youth Leadership Training, planning the week's program and organising its staff. Through college I worked for the university's Safety Services team, and in 2024 I interned as a software engineer at IntelliEvent, fixing front- and back-end bugs and demoing the product to customers at trade shows.
